Karen E. Peterson, DSc
Karen Peterson, DSc, is Professor of Environmental Health Sciences and Director of the Human Nutrition Program in the School of Public Health at the University of Michigan. She is also Associate Director of UM's Nutrition Obesity Research Center.
Dr. Peterson's research focuses on determinants of intergenerational patterns of growth in mothers and children and the design and evaluation of domestic and international surveillance systems and community-based interventions in low-income, multi-ethnic populations.
